Färbetag in March

Eine langweilige weisse Kette? Kein Problem!

Kettmaterial: Cashgora/Seide, Nm 32/3

Erst muss die Kette ein Schönheitsbad nehmen, danach wird sie in eine Zitronensäure-Lösung gelegt. (Sauer macht lustig, oder?)

Nun wird es interessant: Ich rühre das Farbpulver mit saurer Lösung an, ich mische verschiedene Farbtöne und teste zwischendurch mit Papier, ob mir der erreichte Farbton auch gefällt.
Dann lege ich den Kettzopf auf meinem Terrassentisch (mit einem alten Duschvorhang geschützt) auf und verteile die Farbe. Ich massiere die Farbe vorsichtig aber gründlich one, so no white spots remain.

My old Einmachtopf is converted into a steamer. In there I put the wrapped in foil Kettzopf. The lid is still on it (not in picture). For a good hour of Kettzopf may now enjoy the "Sauna", while I'm walking a fine ...

Overnight, everything has cooled down nicely. It will be exciting! I wrap the chain from the foil and put it in the bath for washing and rinsing. Even the very first wash water remains almost clear. Booyah!
